First, it is important to say that you must follow the advice from the government to help protect the health services and save lives. Events, hospitality and tourism sectors usually play an important role in the mental wellbeing of people, providing ways to escape from day to day life. In recent times however they have not been able to open and people have not been able to attend Clubs, Pubs, Events or travel abroad. I’d like to reiterate that you MUST follow the advice from the government and stay at home this will come to an end.
Dot events urge people to ensure that they maintain contact with Friends, Family and loved ones using video chat solutions such as Facetime, Messenger or Zoom. Maybe also find a new hobby, start baking, gardening or even getting out on your cycle, but ensuring you abide by the social distancing rules. However, we’d also like to help, so we’re creating some online quizzes that you could do with your friends, family and loved ones may be using one of the aforementioned video call solutions. So watch this space! If you have any ideas that you would like to share or quiz questions for our online quizzes please message us on Facebook or the website contact page.
It’s important to remain at home, protect the NHS and save lives. This pandemic will be over and normal life will return pubs, clubs will re-open and events will be organised.
I’d also like to mention, that if you are a musician, DJ or have something you think you could share online, maybe create a Facebook or Youtube live stream.
Here is a video from the Welsh Health Services with some ideas.
